98.3 FM The Word invites all local Pastors and Ministry Leaders to join us for the 98.3 FM The Word Pastors Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday Morning, October 3, 2023 at the Spanish Hills Country Club, 999 Crestview Avenue in Camarillo. This is a FREE EVENT for Pastors and Ministry Leaders.  We ask that you Pre-Register so we will know how much room and food we need.  CLICK HERE!

Our Special Guest Speaker is Pastor Philip De Courcy, Senior Pastor of Kindred Community Church and Host of Know the Truth, heard weekdays at 11:00 am on 98.3 FM The Word.  Pastor De Courcy will be delivering the message entitled, "Season of Hope."  Worship provided by the Jordan Young Worship Team.  Title Sponsor Capitol Ministries, Presenting Sponsor Aqua Systems, Inc.

Be encouraged by Pastor Philip De Courcy who is steeped in Biblical wisdom and always quick with a joke, Philip is the Senior Pastor of Kindred Community Church and a dynamic speaker on Know The Truth.  A media ministry that exists to share the Gospel with a world in need of Truth, through the preaching of the Word of God … so that believers are encouraged in their faith, equipped to serve, and engaged in sharing the Gospel everywhere they go.

Yet behind the Irish accent and witty humor is a man who truly loves the Lord. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Philip trusted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at age 16. As an adult, he became an engineer by trade and spent six years as a part-time reserve police officer in North Belfast, where civil tension and terrorism were commonplace.

After being called to full-time ministry and receiving pastoral training, Philip spent six years at Carr Baptist Church in Lisburn, a suburb of Belfast. In 1994, he relocated his family to the U.S., graduated from The Master’s Seminary and served in churches in Southern California and central Ohio, before becoming Senior Pastor at Kindred in 2007.
