Rabbi K.A. Schneider: I want to go back today to Psalm 91:14-15. God himself is speaking, as I shared earlier, and I want you to consider in particular the specifics of what the Lord is saying here. God is saying first of all, "When you love me." He's speaking to Yeshua first of all, and he's speaking to all of those that are Yeshua's disciples that are putting him first in their life. So the Lord says this in Psalm 91:14. He says, "Because he has loved me, therefore I will deliver him." When you put God first in your life, beloved, he is going to deliver you from every single snare that you find yourself in along the way. The Bible says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. What a comfort to know that God's love and his faithfulness to you is going to deliver you through every adverse circumstance that you'll ever face in your life. But you have to put him first by his grace. Then God continues, "I will set him securely on high because he has known my name." What does this mean? God is going to raise you up. God is going to give you victory. God is going to empower you. You are going to ascend in the spirit. You're going to get spiritual mastery so that, as the Bible tells us in the book of Romans, you'll reign in life. Beloved, we need to understand that Jesus is himself the reward, and the prize is his own anointing on our life, which brings deliverance and victory. What more could you want in life? Beloved, make God your goal and you will not be disappointed.
