Pastor Joshua is a native of Oxnard. He has been involved in pastoral ministry for over twelve years. Over those years he has served in children’s ministry, youth ministry, young adults, and as an assistant Pastor helping care for and minister to God’s people. Pastor Joshua has also worked as a Facility Administrator for several trauma centers (Group Homes) in north and south Oxnard for over thirteen years. Pastor Joshua still serves as the Campus Pastor of Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks overseeing the spiritual life while teaching high school bible and helping coach football. Pastor Joshua has been with his college sweetheart, Jennifer, for 20 years, and the two have been joyfully married for 16 years. Together they are blessed with six beautiful children, and their heart for ministry flows from a deep commitment to Christ, family, discipleship, and serving the local church. |

Reason for Hope
Calvary Chapel Reason for Hope is a new church plant in South Oxnard committed to bringing the “reason for hope” to the city of Oxnard through the faithful preaching and teaching of the whole counsel of God and by lovingly shepherding people. Inspired by 1 Peter 3:15, the ministry exists to point people to the living hope found in Jesus Christ, equipping believers through sound biblical teaching and encouraging the community with the truth of God’s Word.
