Pastor Cherry believes that purpose defines your life, and whatever you've been gifted to do becomes your mission. Every step, every choice, every hardship, and success story contributes to your significance. He has learned that no-one can live your life better than you. About Pastor Cherry Smith
Born and raised in California, Pastor Cherry Geo. Smith, III attended West Los Angeles College, Biola University and Talbot Graduate School of Theology garnering degrees in both ministry and business.
His ministry career began in 1985 as youth director and later became an associate minister for Church of the Living God P.G. of T., in Los Angeles. He served as youth pastor for nearly ten years and went on to serve on the Pastoral Staff as Director of Men’s Ministry for The First Church of God in Inglewood, CA with over 5000 members.
In 1997, he planted his first church as Senior Pastor, growing a ministry to well over 500 members and servicing thousands. Pastor Cherry served in the capacity of Senior Pastor for 26 years, which included a thriving online ministry providing preaching and teaching to souls around the world. In 2024, he turned his focus to writing, teaching, guest speaking, and music.
And now as a retired Senior Pastor, he continues to live out his motto - “A life poured out…one message and one mission at a time.” May his messages bless your life, one touch at a time.
